Photography is Judy’s passion, its what really inspires and moves her to make sure the person in front of the camera feels important and loved. After 20+ years of boudoir sessions and fine art portraiture, Judy came to realize that retouching and design, was a skillset that brought happiness to not only her own clients, but was valued by photographers that are tired of doing it all. Clients were telling her that it was like magic when they got their photos back and she realized it was time to expand and make it official with Magic Judy Retouching Services.

J.A.M Cormier, professional photographer of 25 years, authors her debut novel, The Guardians. When she isn’t writing, she currently spends her days in front of the computer retouching other photographer’s images to perfection or outside in the city of Hamilton, Ontario where she lives, also known as the “City of Waterfalls.”
Art is clearly in Cormier’s blood, but writing is a brand new path she has begun travelling. After some much needed encouragement and help from a few friends, she has decided to delve into her Spicy Space Opera series, The Terra Alliance. J.A.M. Cormier is hoping her own journey of becoming an author is as fulfilling to her as it will be for her characters.

JUDY CORMIER, book formatting for authors
As a self-published author one of the many things that you have to figure out how to do is get your book formatted. You need it in e-book format, you need it in print book format, and you need to be able to make text modifications sometimes afterwards. I have all of that covered.
From my own journey as an author, I’ve learned to format my own books. I used Adobe InDesign. My packages cover all of the things I mentioned. I even offer a “correction” package to the text after you’ve published and realize that “oops, I have some mistakes.” Been there and know how important it is to get those corrections.
